Very poor service

"I live out of the country and this was a present for my elderly father. I neither requested or paid for a Saturday delivery as that's when my parents go shopping but DPD decided they would deliver on a Saturday and because nobody was home they left it at a "local collection hub" so not only have I paid for a delivery that didn't, I then had to make other arrangements and do the job DPD was paid to do. I appreciate that this is not Threshers fault directly but they didn't say there was a possibility of a Saturday delivery and they should look more closely at the service their choice of couriers are making."
