The third and final expression of the Distillery Collection Series, launched in 2017 to highlight Diplomático's distillation systems.

This rum was distilled in a Copper Pot Still that was brought to Diplomático's La Miel distillery in 1959 from Scotland. Aided by the use of sugar cane honeys and a prolonged fermentation process this pot still produces a very complex distillate. Aging occurs in small American white oak barrels, where the rum develops additional aromas of cacao and toffee. This rum is at the heart of Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva’s unique taste profile.
