Dà Mhìle Single Grain Welsh Whisky 35cl

Dà Mhìle’s single grain Welsh whisky is made from 100 % Welsh barley and water, distilled and bottled on their organic Glynhynod Farm in Llandysul, Ceredigion. The latest release is part-aged in an Islay quarter cask, imparting a delicate peat character that sits atop a soft, cereal-driven backbone. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet, floral and fruity, with hints of orchard blossom and gentle barley sugar. 

Palate: Initial honeyed sweetness gives way to warm baking spice, with oak tannins and a touch of liquorice on the tongue’s edge.

Finish: Warm and comforting, the peat smoke and maritime salinity linger alongside a subtle smoky-salt interplay.
