A rich, terroir-driven red wine from the famed Gimblett Gravels vineyards in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Crafted from 100 % Syrah grapes grown in extremely free-draining, sun-soaked gravel soils, this wine expresses intense dark fruit flavours of blackberry and plum layered with black pepper, dried herbs and subtle floral spice on the nose. The palate is balanced yet concentrated, showing luscious dark berries, fine tannins and savoury earthy notes with a long, elegant finish typical of this unique vineyard site. With an ABV around 13 %, it’s ideal with roasted or grilled red meats, game or hearty stews.
