It's intense aromas of blackcurrants and raspberries are balanced by savoury hints of earth, leaves, nutmeg and gravel. The palate is brimming with fresh, ripe black cherries. A mineral note of graphite runs underneath, subtly drawing in a character that is reminiscent of the Old World. Sophisticated and classy, this a refreshing, appealing and generous wine.
