Balvenie 25 Year Old DoubleWood is a limited edition release introduced in 2018 to mark the 25th anniversary of its 12 Year Old counterpart. This whisky undergoes a dual maturation process, initially in traditional oak and subsequently in sherry casks, which impart complex flavours over a quarter of a century. Balvenie distillery, established in 1892 in Scotland, remains one of the few remaining distilleries with its own malting floor, emphasising a commitment to traditional craftsmanship.
