Deeply satisfying, with an autumnal nose and plenty of stewed fruits and rose-hip syrup on the palate, Companata owes much to the casks in which it matured: first, American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then 60% Burgundy wine casks and 40% Rhône Valley casks. Epic.
