On nose

Opens with notes of red-fleshed peaches, rapidly evolving to cashew nuts and dried herbs. This aromatic experience finishes on a note of lightly toasted brioche.

On palate

Well-orchestrated, precise and full-bodied tastes. The initial density becomes creamy, while the long finish ends on a note of glazed citrus fruit.

The harvest

Vintage 1993 is the product of early ripening. The warm, stormy spring prompted the vines to flower rapidly and fully in the early days of June. In spite of an average temperature, the summer was unusually sunny and dry, and these conditions continued through to the picking of the grapes: September 10th.
